Nylon Suture

Monofilament nylon suture are non-absorbable synthetic sutures regularly utilized in wound closure stitching during surgeries Skin closure, Orthopedic surgery, Neurological surgery, Ophthalmic surgery and more. This types of surgical threads are made from nylon fiber, which is a non dis-solvable material but for a long term surgery support. Also, it’s a monofilament suture and very easy to knot and almost won’t cause tissues reaction.


Beside these characteristics, the advantage of nylon suture is great value for money, and that’s also the main reason why most surgeons love to use it for some simple surgical surgeries. However, the disadvantage of this suture is it need a repeat procedure for suture removal after the wound has healed.
